There may be many reasons for the low pressure alarm of industrial chillers. You can try to eliminate the following possible causes and solutions:

Insufficient refrigerant in the chiller:

Reasons: Refrigerant leakage, excessive refrigerant loss, refrigerant circulation system problems, etc.

Solution:

  1. Check the refrigerant system and repair any leaks.
  2. Replenish or replace the refrigerant to ensure that the amount of refrigerant in the system reaches normal levels.
  3. Check the pipelines, valves and components of the refrigerant circulation system to ensure their normal operation.

Chiller water pump problems:

Reasons: Water pump failure, poor operation of the water pump, blockage of the water inlet of the water pump, etc.

Solution:

  1. Check the operating status of the water pump, and repair or replace the faulty water pump.
  2. Clean the water inlet and drain outlet of the water pump to ensure normal operation of the water pump.

Chiller condenser problems:

Reasons: Condenser blockage, fan failure, accumulation of dirt on the condenser surface, etc.

Solution:

  1. Clean the condenser surface to remove dirt and accumulated debris.
  2. Check the operating status of the condenser fan, and repair or replace the faulty fan.
  3. Maintain and clean the condenser regularly to ensure its normal operation.

Control system issues:

Reason: Control system failure, sensor damage, incorrect control parameter settings, etc.

Solution:

  1. Check various components of the control system and repair or replace faulty components.
  2. Adjust the control parameters according to the actual situation to ensure that the chiller can operate normally.

Ambient temperature is too high:

Reason: The external ambient temperature is too high, causing the chiller to block heat dissipation.

Solution:

  1. When installing the chiller, consider its surrounding environment temperature and select an appropriate installation location.
  2. If possible, provide sufficient ventilation and heat dissipation space for the chiller to reduce the impact of external ambient temperature on its operation.

When solving low-voltage alarm problems, it is necessary to carefully investigate the above possible causes and take corresponding measures to repair them. 

If the cause of the problem cannot be determined or cannot be solved, 

it is recommended to contact professional equipment maintenance personnel or manufacturer technical support for further diagnosis and repair.
