Air-cooled chillers need to pay attention to the following aspects in the process of use to ensure the safety, stable operation and prolong the service life of the equipment:

1. Installation location and ventilation
Good ventilation: air-cooled chillers rely on air flow to dissipate heat, so they need to be placed in a well-ventilated place to ensure that the air can circulate freely.
Avoid high temperature and direct sunlight: the chiller should be avoided to be installed in a high temperature environment or under direct sunlight, so as not to affect the heat dissipation efficiency.
Maintain surrounding space: Make sure there is enough space around the chiller and do not pile up clutter to prevent obstruction of air circulation. Generally speaking, a distance of at least 1 meter should be maintained around and on top of the chiller.
2. Power supply and wiring
Stable power supply: Confirm that the power supply voltage matches the equipment requirements before use. The power supply voltage should be stable to avoid damage to the equipment due to voltage fluctuation.
Correct grounding: The chiller must be well grounded to prevent accidents caused by leakage and static electricity.
Prevent overloading: Ensure that the capacity of the power cable is sufficient to avoid heating or short-circuiting of the cable due to overloading.
3. Daily operation and maintenance
Regular inspection and cleaning of the condenser: the condenser is an important heat dissipation part of the air-cooled chiller, the surface of the condenser should be inspected regularly for dust, dirt and foreign matter and cleaned in time. You can use compressed air or a brush to gently clean the condenser fins.
Monitor the operating parameters: Check the operating status of the chiller frequently, monitor whether the parameters such as water temperature, water pressure and current are within the normal range, and deal with any abnormalities in time.
Prevent freezing: When used in cold areas, prevent freezing inside the cold water piping and chiller. You can consider adding antifreeze to the cooling water or emptying the cooling water during shutdown.
4. Water Quality Management
Keep the water clean: use clean softened or purified water to prevent impurities, minerals or corrosive substances in the water quality from being deposited in the heat exchanger or piping, affecting the cooling effect and life of the equipment.
Regular replacement of cooling water: According to the usage and water quality, replace the cooling water regularly to prevent the growth of bacteria and algae.
5. Anti-vibration and noise
Installation of vibration-damping device: air-cooled chiller will produce vibration and noise during operation, vibration-damping pads or dampers should be installed to reduce the impact of equipment vibration on the environment and itself.
Regularly check the fixing bolts: Make sure that the fixing bolts of each part of the equipment are not loose to prevent the equipment from moving or being damaged due to vibration.
6. Safety Protection and Operation
Avoid frequent startup: Avoid frequent startup and shutdown of the chiller, usually the interval between each startup should not be less than 5 minutes to avoid damage to the compressor.
Professional operators: the operation and maintenance of the equipment should be carried out by trained professionals to ensure proper use and handling of emergencies.
Prevent refrigerant leakage: Regularly check the refrigerant pipes and joints of the equipment to ensure that there are no leaks. If refrigerant leakage is found, stop the machine immediately and contact a professional for repair.
7. Regular maintenance and inspection
Regularly check the key components such as compressor, fan and electric control system: ensure their normal operation. The oil level and oil quality of the compressor should meet the requirements, and the fan should run smoothly without abnormal noise.
Record the maintenance log: after each maintenance and inspection, make a good record and update the maintenance log of the equipment in time in order to track the operation status and problems of the equipment.
8. Emergency handling measures
Emergency shutdown: In case of abnormal vibration, abnormal noise, odor or smoke, etc., the machine should be shut down immediately for inspection and restarted only after confirming the problem.
Alarm system: Ensure that the alarm system and protection device of the chiller work properly, and that it can alarm and shut down automatically in time when encountering an emergency.
